Vivo has officially confirmed that its next product launch event will take place on April 11th in its native nation of China. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. local time, or 5:00 p.m. IST.

The business will announce its first foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold, during the next launch event. Along with that, the Vivo X Note, Vivo Pad, and Vivo X80 series smartphones are likely to be released.

According to the teaser video released by the firm, Vivo will announce the advent of a new era for foldable smartphones. The Chinese business appears to be previewing the release of the Vivo X Fold, codenamed Butterfly.

According to sources, the Vivo X Fold will have a 6.53-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a single punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. It is believed to include a 4,600mAh battery, rapid charging at 80W, and wireless charging at 50W.

The phone is likely to be available in two memory configurations: 12GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. It might be made available in three different colours — Blue and Crimson and orange.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU will power the Vivo X Fold and Vivo X Note smartphones, while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor is slated to power the Vivo Pad, the brand's future tablet.

While major specifications and features of the new gadgets have already been leaked online, we hope to learn more about them in the following days, since the launch event is set for a few weeks later.
