HIGHLIGHTS

  • A single render of the OnePlus Nord 2T has surfaced online.
  • It depicts a gadget similar to the OnePlus One.
  • A bulky camera module with an unusual shape is also added to the rear cover.

For months, the OnePlus Nord 2T has been making headlines. The phone's specifications and debut date were leaked a while back, and now we have renderings courtesy of 91Mobiles.

What we're looking at is a really odd-looking OnePlus phone. It has a sandstone back, similar to the OnePlus One. With a wholly distinct pop-out colour, a bulky camera module breaks up the all-black aspect of the rear panel. The camera housing itself is unusual. The phone's triple camera arrangement is divided into two circular cutouts. It's a design we've never seen on a OnePlus phone, or any other phone for that matter. The only leaked render is seen here.

OnePlus Nord 2T specs

According to rumours, the OnePlus Nord 2T will be powered by the octa-core Mediatek Dimensity 1300 SoC, the successor to the Dimensity 1200 found in the Nord 2. Another noticeable change might be the phone's charging capability. The OnePlus Nord 2 could support 65W speeds, while the Nord 2T could increase this to 80W. Meanwhile, the battery capacity may remain same at 4,500mAh.

Expect no big improvements in the camera department. The Nord 2T, like the OnePlus Nord 2, is believed to include a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP monochrome shooter. In the front, a 32MP selfie camera may be employed.

Aside from that, the phone is reported to have up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The phone is scheduled to enter the Indian market in April or May, with a price range of Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 (about $400 to $533).
