Xiaomi's alleged Mi Band 7 specifications have surfaced online, providing fitness fanatics with an indication of what to anticipate from the company's upcoming fitness tracker. The Mi Band 6 will be replaced by the new fitness tracker, which may include a bigger display than its predecessor, an always-on display (AOD), GPS functionality, and a smart alarm feature. It should be noted that the Chinese business has yet to make any public announcements about a future fitness tracker, including its specifications and capabilities.

Details about the Mi Band 7 have been seen in the Huami's Zepp application, according to a report by XDA Developers citing tipster Magical Unicorn. Xiaomi's rumoured successor to the Mi Band 6 is said to have a 192x490-pixel display resolution, which is better than the 152x486-pixel resolution of the Mi Band 6, which was released in India in August 2021.

The Mi Band 7 display is rumoured to have a new AOD mode on a select watch faces, which is an upgrade from the Mi Band 6. It is expected to include built-in GPS functionality, allowing it to be used to track workouts such as jogging and running without the need for a smartphone. However, like with other wearables that offer GPS technology, the GPS capability may come at the expense of battery life.

According to the tip, the fitness tracker will include model numbers M2129B1 and M2130B1, as well as the codename "L66." The Mi Band 7 is also expected to include a power saving mode (just collecting steps and minimal sleep data), which might help to increase the wearable's battery life. It might also have a Smart Alarm function, which could wake up a user 30 minutes before their alarm goes off if it detects light slumber.

As previously said, Xiaomi has yet to share any information on the Mi Band 7. However, given that the Mi Band 6 was released in March 2021, an official announcement might be made shortly.
