The Chinese regulatory agency TENAA has authorised a forthcoming ZTE midrange phone with the model number ZTE 8040N. According to trustworthy tipper WHY LAB, this ZTE phone may make its debut in China as a Yaunhang series phone. In April of last year, the Chinese company released the ZTE Yuanhang 10 featuring the Dimensity 700 processor.

The ZTE 8040N smartphone weighs 215 kilos and dimensions 165.8 x 77.5 x 9.4mm. It is a 5G-capable gadget with a 6.67-inch LCD display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The power button on the right side of the phone looks to be merged with a fingerprint scanner.
The phone comes with an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The phone's rear panel appears to be composed of polycarbonate. It has a rectangular camera module that holds a 48-megapixel main camera. A pair of 2-megapixel auxiliary lenses supplement the primary camera.
The ZTE 8040N is powered by a huge 5,890mAh (rated value) battery, implying that its usual capacity is 6,000mAh. The device's 3C certification indicated that it may offer 22.5W rapid charging.
The ZTE 8040N is powered by an undisclosed 2.4GHz octa-core CPU. The device is likely to be available in China with storage capacities of 128 GB and 256 GB. Both variants will reportedly have 8 GB of RAM. According to the ad, the device would be available in two colours: Obsidian Black and Huansha Green. With TENAA certification in hand, the tablet is anticipated to make its debut in China as early as this month.
