The release of the Nothing phone did not surprise us (1). We knew Carl Pei would utilise his smartphone knowledge to assist the brand when he left OnePlus to create his own firm, Nothing, a few months later. Nothing began as a "wearable" firm with fashionable and unique merchandise. However, along the way, the corporation acquired Essential as well as a bevvy of patents. As a result, it's impossible to dismiss the brand's prospects as a smartphone manufacturer. IM Pei took the stage to announce the Nothing phone after much anticipation (1).

Nothing is "the most convincing alternative to Apple," according to one of OnePlus' founders, Carl Pei, with flawless and effective products. The startup is working on a new smartphone that will run on top of Android with a bespoke user experience called Nothing OS. If you're a fan of OnePlus, you'll notice a few nods here and there. OnePlus emerged as an original independent brand. BBK Group, on the other hand, has decided to move it closer to Oppo in recent years. Oppo merged with OnePlus last year, and the two companies are now working on a new software platform to replace OxygenOS. Following the outcry, the business chose to stick with OxygenOS 13. However, not everyone who used to be a fan of OnePlus is pleased with the company's current strategy. Similarly, IM Pei was absent and chose to depart the company prior to the merger.

there is no phone (1)

The Nothing phone(1), according to Carl Pei, will be "a breath of fresh air for the weary smartphone industry." With a unique design, it will provide more value to users. Regrettably, no specifications have been revealed. Teaser photos, on the other hand, imply that the Nothing phone (1) will have an under-display camera. Technology is progressing at a rapid pace, and we can nearly assume it from any brand. While the smartphone market isn't quite new, IM Pei has a strong network and knowledge, as well as a huge number of great patents.

Internal specifications have not been published, however we can expect a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Nothing works with Qualcomm, after all. Because the gadget isn't expected to be released until the summer, it might be equipped with TSMC's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+. Key component suppliers will include Samsung, Sony, and Visionox. Samsung may release cameras similar to Sony's. Visionox is a major participant in the display industry and could be the driving force behind this rumoured under-screen camera.
