A fresh leak has revealed some intriguing details about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4. According to reports, the next-generation foldable phone would have a stronger display material that will allow it to accept standard S Pens.

According to Naver, the Galaxy Z Fold4 will include a more robust type of Ultra Thin Glass (UTG), maybe dubbed the Super UTG. Furthermore, as a result of this modification, the South Korean tech giant intends to add compatibility for conventional S Pens that will not damage the display panel. For those who are unaware, the Galaxy Z Fold3 was not powerful enough to support the normal version of the S Pen without potentially harming the display.

As a result, the firm was forced to produce the S Pen Fold Edition, which had a retractable tip. However, it appears that the next-generation Galaxy Fold will support the normal version because to the powerful UTG. Notably, the information was provided by someone claiming to work for Samsung's domestic supply chain. So, for the time being, take this information with a grain of salt. Despite the fact that the UTG is adaptable and has shown to be trustworthy, the manufacturer must have learned that it has to be more robust.

Many concerns relating to Galaxy Fold device cracking will most likely be addressed as a result of the new Super UTG. Recently, a few Reddit users have come out with their broken Galaxy Z Fold3. They claimed that the screen shattered for no apparent reason, but the business refused to repair it, alleging that it was caused by external forces. As a result, the new UTG might be the solution to this problem on next-generation foldable phones.
