We reported last week that customers of the Galaxy A52s 5G were experiencing difficulties such as their smartphones slowing down and the smartphone's battery depleting too soon. These difficulties surfaced after Samsung updated these devices to the Android 12-based One UI 4.0.
Samsung has already began handing out the Android One UI 4.1 upgrade to these smartphones, which should resolve the issues. In addition to the A52s, the South Korean conglomerate has issued the One UI 4.1 upgrade for the Galaxy A71 5G and the Galaxy S20 FE 4G. The Galaxy A71 5G has missed the One UI 4.0 upgrade entirely in favour of One UI 4.1.
Along with the normal bug fixes and March 2022 security updates, the current version adds a slew of enhancements to these devices. The Smart Calander and the enhanced RAM Plus are two of the update's standout features. The Smart Calander analyses dates from all messaging applications, making it easy to enter dates in the Calendar app. The RAM Plus, on the other hand, provides virtual memory functionality on these devices and currently comes in four sizes ranging from 2GB to 8GB.
The upgrade is claimed to be active in Europe and South Korea right now, with a larger release coming soon. If you haven't gotten the update yet, you may manually check for it on their Samsung Galaxy devices by going to Settings > Software update. Users may also get the updated release straight from Samsung's Firmware Update Server (FUS) and manually flash it on their Galaxy handset.
