TECNO stated at MWC 2022 that the CAMON 19 series camera will use the RGBW high-transparency crystal moulded lens. The technology was created by the company in collaboration with Samsung.

According to TECNO, the technique creates an RGBW pixel arrangement by adding white sub-pixels to the original RGB three primary colour implementation. Because a typical RGB implementation cannot produce pure white, the additional white pixel aids in the creation of a more refined colour tone.

Samsung's ISOCELL technology is added to TECNO's solution to boost light sensitivity, eliminate light crosstalk, and provide a better low-light photography experience.

According to reports, the RGBW sensor would feature a 64MP resolution and boost incoming light capture capability by up to 60%. Furthermore, the more expensive and effective Glass+Plastic lens assembly will be employed, which outperforms all-plastic lenses.

The CAMON 19 series is not well recognised, but it is reported to include four versions, including the CAMON 19 Pro 5G and CAMON 19 Neo. Apart than that, nothing more is known about the CAMON 19 phones. However, we may soon see them on certification sites, revealing certain specifications.
