The Redmi Watch 2 Lite will be available in India on Wednesday, March 9, according to a Xiaomi sub-brand announcement on Thursday. The new Redmi wristwatch will be released in the nation with the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. The Redmi Watch 2 Lite was first launched in November of last year. The smartwatch's key features include a colour display, GPS-based location tracking, and 24-hour heart rate monitoring. The Redmi Watch 2 Lite is also said to have a battery life of up to 10 days on a single charge.

On March 9, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite will be released in India alongside the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ 5G. The event will be aired live on the brand's social media outlets.

The Redmi Watch 2 Lite's specifications in India are yet to be published. The hardware, though, is expected to be the same as what was disclosed internationally. In worldwide countries, the wristwatch has a 1.55-inch (320x360 pixel) TFT display and connection options such as Bluetooth v5. It also has more than 100 watch faces and more than 100 fitness modes, including 17 professional modes. The Redmi Watch 2 Lite is also water-resistant (up to 5ATM) (50 metres).
SpO2 and heart rate monitoring are also included in the Redmi Watch 2 Lite. The smartwatch, like other smartwatches, is not a medically authorised gadget. It also monitors sleep and stress levels and may send notification warnings from a linked device.
The Redmi Watch 2 Lite, like other Redmi wearables, is compatible with both Android and iOS. The wristwatch has a 262mAh battery that can last up to 10 hours or 14 hours of continuous GPS connection on a single charge.
