One of the products unveiled yesterday was the Redmi Router AX5400, which Redmi had previously announced. This router was gaming-themed and packed with high-end capabilities to appeal to gamers. At yesterday's Redmi Launch Event, a new and upgraded version of this modem was unveiled.
Redmi Router AX5400 Specifications
Redmi Router AX5400, Redmi's first and only router for gamers, was unveiled last month with the Redmi K50 Gaming. The Qualcomm IPQ5018 SoC powers the Redmi Router AX5400. The router has a 1GHz dual-core CPU and a 1GHz NPU, as well as 512MB of RAM. The router also has 6 separate high-performance FEMs, which are essentially signal amplifiers. A 2.5Gbps ethernet port is also included with the Redmi Router AX5400.
Redmi Router AX5400 supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax and 802.3/3u/3ab/3bz bands thanks to Wi-F 6 technology. It has a maximum internet speed of 5400Mbps. Differences with Re-Launched Router
This modem was reintroduced yesterday at the K50 launch ceremony in an advanced yet basic version. Initially, rather of a game design, there is a white design. To put it another way, this freshly released version is a standard router. According to Redmi's remarks, the latest version contains several enhancements. Except for a few additional enhancements, it is identical to the modem announced last month.
The new modem features 44 160MHz ultra-wideband broadcasts and 4K QAM high-speed transmissions. Furthermore, it permits the simultaneous connecting of up to 248 devices with a variety of network speed increases.
