Redmi has confirmed that the Redmi K50 series of smartphones would be unveiled on March 17 at 7 p.m. (local time) in China. The Redmi K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Pro+ are three possible variants from the Chinese company.
A Redmi K50 series phone with a protruding camera island with three cameras positioned in a triangle style, as well as a dual-LED flash, may be seen in the poster below. The Redmi K50 will include a 108-megapixel primary camera, according to the poster.
Redmi announced the Redmi K50G (also known as the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition) in February, which features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform. Three distinct chipsets are expected to power the future K50 line of smartphones. The Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8100, and Dimensity 9000 chipsets are likely to be used in the K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Pro+, respectively.
The Redmi K50 will be available in three variants, including 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, according to the TENAA listing. The Redmi K50 Pro, on the other hand, will be available in a variety of configurations, including 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The K50 and K50 Pro may have 67W rapid charging capabilities.
According to the TENAA listing for the Redmi K50 Pro+, it will be available with 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. The device will be able to charge at 120 watts.
According to WHY LAB, the K50 Pro+ will sport an OIS-enabled 108-megapixel main camera, while the K50 Pro will have the same camera but without OIS. The model numbers 22021211RC, 22041211AC, and 22011211C have previously been linked to the K50, K50 Pro, and K50 Pro+.
