Redmi officially confirmed the Redmi K50 series release date a few days ago. As it turns out, the March 17 event will also witness the debut of a number of other items, with company GM Lu Weibing describing it as "Redmi's most important launch of the year."

The Redmi brand's whole portfolio, according to the GM, will be completely refreshed this year. Several of these items will be updated on March 17, but it appears that Redmi will hold more important events throughout the year.

Along with the Redmi K50, a teaser image released with the announcement reveals the silhouettes of several additional items, including a router, a TV, and a laptop.

Speaking of laptops, the RedmiBook Pro 15 with the Intel Core i7-12650 CPU was seen on Geekbench a few days ago. The processor features 10 cores, 16 threads, and up to 24MB cache, resulting in an amazing multi-core score of 11,872. This laptop is scheduled to be released in conjunction with the Redmi K50 series.

The Redmi K50 series will be Redmi's most broad flagship portfolio to date, powered by Qualcomm and MediaTek CPUs. The Redmi K50 Pro+ has a Dimensity 9000, the Redmi K50 Gaming has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the Redmi K50 Pro has a Dimensity 8100, and the Redmi K50 has a Snapdragon 870.
