The Redmi K50 series is set to be unveiled in China next week. However, prior to the March 17 launch, the two Pro models in the lineup were discovered on GeekBench, which also listed a number of the K50 Pro+ and K50 Pro specifications.
A smartphone with the model number 22041211AC was listed on the popular benchmarking platform, according to a MySmartPrice report. This device is thought to be the Redmi K50 Pro. Similarly, the 22011211C model number was discovered on GeekBench for the K50 Pro+. Because both models were listed with Android 12 OS, they will most likely run MIUI 13. In addition, the K50 Pro will have up to 12GB of RAM.
Furthermore, this model will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8100 SoC, which was previously confirmed by the company. This chipset is paired with the Arm Mali G610 MC6 GPU, which comes with the HyperEngine 5.0 gaming suite. The K50 Pro+, on the other hand, was spotted on the platform with a Dimensity 9000 SoC, 12GB of RAM, and Android 12 OS. This chipset is also paired with the Mali G710 MC10 GPU.
The standard K50 model, along with the two Pro variants, will be available on March 17. It will purportedly include a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a battery pack with a capacity of 4,700mAh and capability for 120W fast charging. The smartphone will most likely run Android 12 out of the box, but we won't know for sure until its official release. So stay tuned for additional information.
