Xiaomi announced the Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 on Thursday. The smartphones are the Redmi brand's flagship models, with top-of-the-line MediaTek SoCs, liquid cooling, 120Hz refresh rates, and Dolby Vision compatible 2K resolution displays. Pre-orders for the two 5G-enabled smartphones are now open, and they will go on sale later this month. The Redmi K50 Pro costs CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 35,900) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, CNY 3,299 (about Rs. 39,500) for the 8GB + 256GB variant, CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs. 43,100) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, and CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 47,900) for the 12GB + 512GB variant.

The Redmi K50, on the other hand, starts at CNY 2,399 (approximately Rs. 28,700) for the 8GB + 128GB model, CNY 2,599 (about Rs. 31,100) for the 8GB + 256GB model, and CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 33,500) for the 12GB + 256GB model. Both smartphones will come in a variety of colours, including Dim Light, Fantasy, Ink Feather, and Silver Traces. Both Xiaomi gadgets may be pre-ordered now and will be available in China on March 22.

It has a 20-megapixel Sony IMX596 sensor on the front.

The Redmi K50 Pro comes with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage that cannot be expanded with a microSD card. 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, NFC, GPS, Beidu, Glonass, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity possibilities. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, ambient colour temperature sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, infrared blaster, and ultrasonic distance sensor are among the sensors on board.

It has a 5,000mAh battery and 120W rapid charging, which can charge it to 100% in 19 minutes, according to the manufacturer. The Redmi K50 Pro weighs 201 grammes and measures 163.1x76.15x8.48mm.
