Redmi is set to unveil its highly anticipated Redmi K50 series in China on Thursday, March 17th. Earlier this week, the business showcased the striking design of one of its Redmi K50 series handsets, which features a revamped camera island and a matte black appearance dubbed "Feather Black."
However, cellphones often do not come in a single colour choice, and other colour possibilities will be unveiled at the launch event. However, recent information published online suggests that the Redmi K50 would be available in four colours: black, blue, gold, and white.
The info comes from Mayank Kumar, a tech enthusiast on Twitter, who disclosed the three future colour possibilities in a Tweet.
The Redmi K50 series in Gold is a welcome sight in the Android industry, as there aren't many 2022 Android flagships in a beautiful gold colorway. The Golden Huawei P50 Series, which was released last year, is the only other gadget that springs to mind.
The Blue Redmi K50 series resembles the Matte Light Blue of its more costly cousin, the Xiaomi 12.
The Redmi K50 series in White is similar to last year's Redmi K40/Poco F3/Mi 11X series in Arctic White matte colour.
However, consider the leaks of the other three colours with a grain of salt, since these leaked renders bear a striking resemblance to the official unveiling of the Redmi K50's Feather Black colorway.
Redmi understands that looks are not the only determining element when purchasing a smartphone, which is why the Redmi K50 is equipped with industry-leading performance thanks to its MediaTek Dimensity 8100 and 9000 CPUs.
Official Antutu Benchmarks have already revealed that one of the unannounced Redmi K50 series handsets packed with the Dimensity 9000 has surpassed the 1 million score threshold, outperforming the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200.
Redmi has revealed that the Redmi K50 would have a competitive camera system that will compete with flagships costing more than its price range. The Redmi K50 series will be launched this Thursday, and Gizmochina will have additional coverage of the event.
