The Redmi 10 is slated to arrive in India next week, and a leak says that it will be a renamed Redmi 10C. Images of the latter's retail box from Nigeria have also leaked online, implying that it would be released in Africa soon. The appearance of the vanilla Redmi 10 has been teased via a special webpage and seems to be identical to the design of the Redmi 10C — as seen on the retail packaging. Both smartphones appear to have a similar design and location of the back camera module.

According to tipster Paras Guglani, the Redmi 10C will be released in Nigeria soon when its retail box is discovered on an e-commerce site. Guglani further claims that the worldwide version of the Redmi 10C would be released in India under the name Redmi 10. The latter will be available in India on March 17.

When the photographs on the Nigerian retail box for the Redmi 10C and the Indian version of the Redmi 10 on the website are compared, they appear to share a similar design. In a square casing, the smartphones have a dual back camera arrangement. Both have a flat display with a waterdrop-style notch, three sides with narrow bezels, and a broad chin. The power button and volume rockers on the right spine of the two Redmi smartphones are also displayed.

Redmi 10 specifications (expected)

The vanilla Redmi 10 will have a 6.71-inch Dot Drop display, according to the photograph given by Guglani. The next smartphone is supposed to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC combined with UFS storage, however the website refers to it as a 6nm Snapdragon SoC. According to reports, the Redmi 10 would include a 50-megapixel primary back camera as well as a 5-megapixel front camera. In addition, the phone is believed to include a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging capabilities.
