Redmi 10 India launch details

The official Redmi India account on social media confirmed the Redmi 10's debut date in the nation. Xiaomi also sent out a press invite for the event.

Furthermore, Xiaomi has developed a special webpage to tease the Redmi 10's arrival in the nation. According to the website, the India iteration of the Redmi 10 may have different specifications from the global one released last year. The new phone also looks to be distinct from the Redmi 10 2022, which was released last month with a few changes from the original model.

Redmi 10 price in India (expected)

The Redmi 10 price in India is believed to be similar to the Redmi 9, which arrived in the nation in August 2020, with a starting price of Rs. 8,999. The previous model is now marginally more expensive at Rs. 9,499 for the 4GB + 64GB option.

The Redmi 10 is also believed to be less expensive than the Redmi 10 Prime, which was released in September and has a starting price of Rs. 12,499.

Redmi 10 specifications (expected)

According to the website, the Redmi 10 will have a waterdrop-style display notch in India. This is in contrast to the worldwide Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 2022, both of which have a hole-punch display design. The new smartphone is also said to use a 6nm Snapdragon SoC, as opposed to the worldwide variants, which both use the MediaTek Helio G88 CPU.

In India, the Redmi 10 is expected to include a dual back camera configuration with a 50-megapixel main sensor. In comparison, the Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 2022 were introduced in worldwide countries with a quad back camera arrangement, albeit both phones also have a 50-megapixel main sensor.

Furthermore, the finish of the Redmi 10 India edition appears to be different from what was launched in worldwide markets. According to the website, the phone sports a smudge-free coating with a textured design.

Other teasers on the website indicate that the Redmi 10 would be available in India with "ultra-fast" storage, a "huge" battery, and "quick charging" capabilities. The phone will also have a "large" display, according to rumours.

The Redmi 10 India edition also looks to contain a fingerprint sensor on the rear. The original Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 2022, on the other hand, have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
