Realme is preparing to introduce the successor to last year's realme GT NEO 2 in China. The device, dubbed realme GT NEO 3, has been making the rounds for a time now, and most of its details have previously leaked. Add to that its debut date, which was confirmed by the corporation today.

According to realme's Weibo account, the realme GT NEO 3 will be released in China on March 22nd. The phone is also shown in an exceptionally appealing blue hue with a dual-stripe design in the same post. This, according to realme, was inspired by Le Mans race cars and serves as a "totem of performance and speed." It stands to reason that the realme GT series has always been focused on performance.

The two stripes are routed through a rectangular camera module with three lenses. These three lenses include a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor, according to leaked specs. The gadget will have a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.

This selfie camera will be mounted on top of a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ screen resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Underneath the display will be a fingerprint scanner.

The realme GT NEO 3 is likely to be powered by the incredibly competent MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, which has recently been discovered to outperform the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in benchmark tests.
