Realme is expected to formally debut the Realme GT Neo 3 in China on March 22nd, only two days from today. And, as with other major releases in 2022, the business is following the "drip and feed" approach of disclosing device features each day leading up to the predicted "possibly industry-changing" gadget of the year.

Chase Xu, Senior Executive of Realme, shows the jaw-dropping camera highlight of the Realme GT Neo 3 in the company's newest Weibo teaser announcement. The Realme GT Neo 3 will be equipped with a top-tier Sony IMX766 50MP sensor with OIS!

For background, the Sony IMX766 sensor is often found in flagship devices such as the Xiaomi 12 series, the Vivo X70 series, and the Oppo Find X3 and Find X5 series.

Despite being Realme's upper mid-range offering, the Realme GT Neo 3 doesn't hold back when compared to its flagship brothers. Aside from its camera, the Realme GT Neo 3 was announced to be the industry's first smartphone to have 150W wired charging for customers. Realme says that the new charging technology allows the smartphone to charge from 0% to 50% in 5 minutes!

Another feature of the Realme GT Neo 3 is its MediaTek Dimensity 8100 CPU, which according to early benchmarks outperforms Qualcomm's highest-end chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Of course, the device's screen quality is a highlight, with a 120Hz flat AMOLED display, an astounding 94.2 percent screen to body ratio, and a 1000Hz touch sampling rate for seamless performance on the go.
