  • The Realme GT Neo 3 will be available in the second half of this year.
  • The company is working on a phone with an under-display camera, which will be released in H2 2022.
  • A foldable phone from Realme is also in the works.
Realme debuted the GT 2 series, the Book Prime laptop, and the Buds Air 3 wireless headphones at MWC 2022. The Realme GT Neo 3 will also include a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor and 150W fast charging capabilities, according to the manufacturer. What we don't know is when the game will be released. That is changing today, as Realme's Madhav Sheth allegedly revealed in a group media interview session that the Realme GT Neo 3 would ship in the second half of the year and will be one of the first phones to be powered by the brand new MediaTek processor. Surprisingly, the senior executive also revealed that the company is working on a phone with an under-display camera that would be released in H2 2022.

Madhav Sheth went on to say that the business is experimenting with several smartphone form factors, including a foldable model. While this is significant, no date has been announced for the commercial release of a Realme foldable phone. Realme's MagDart magnetic charging technology is still set to debut, albeit it is now being optimised owing to various concessions for consumers in the current versions. The main restriction is the amount of space available within MagDart compatible devices, which results in phones that are excessively thick or have insufficient battery capacity.

The senior executive went on to explain why the firm decided to incorporate a 3MP microscope camera on the Realme GT 2 Pro instead of a telephoto module since it provides functions that the other two sensors do not. Realme claims that the microscope lens, when combined with their computational photography software, will provide results comparable to telephoto cameras.
