Along with the debut of the Realme 9 5G smartphone in India, the China-based business has also released the Realme 9 SE 5G smartphone, adding to the existing portfolio of Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro Plus.
The OPPO-backed firm finally has a handset with the "SE" suffix in this portfolio with the debut of the Realme 9 SE smartphone. The SE stands for Speed Edition, according to the business.
The SE model, like the Realme 9, employs the new Starlight Texture Design language. It has a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS display with DCI-P3 colour gamut, 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, 600nits brightness, and a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor is at the heart of the gadget. It also includes Qualcomm AI Engine, which allows for AI performance of up to 12 TOPS, as well as Snapdragon Elite Gaming with variable-rate shading for reduced latency.
It comes pre-installed with Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0, the company's own user interface. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device, which supports 30W Dart rapid charging technology.
In terms of cameras, this phone, like the Realme 9 5G, offers a triple-camera configuration on the rear. A 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 20-megapixel depth-sensing lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens make up the camera. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera is available for selfies and video calls.
