In India, Realme has announced two new phones in its Realme 9 range of smartphones. Realme 9 5G and Realme 9 Speed Edition 5G are the two new versions, with the latter being the brand's first "SE" model.

The Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro Plus are the two new smartphones, which join the Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro Plus, which were revealed earlier this year.

The new Ripple Holographic Design language is used on the Realme 9 5G smartphone, which is 8.5mm thick and weighs 188 grammes. It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a 90Hz screen refresh rate.

The gadget is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, as well as up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has Dynamic RAM Expansion, which adds 5GB of virtual RAM to the system. It also has MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0, which helps it save power.

For further security, there's a fingerprint sensor on the side. The phone comes preloaded with Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0, which is the company's proprietary user interface. A 5,000mAh battery powers the gadget, which enables 18W Dart fast charging.

The Realme 9 5G smartphone comes with a triple-camera configuration on the back, which includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 20-megapixel depth-sensing lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, there's a 16-megapixel camera with Clear Fusion Algorithm technology for selfies and video calls.

Stargaze White and Meteor Black are the two colours available for the Realme 9 5G. The 4GB RAM variant with 64GB internal storage costs $14,999 ($197), while the 6GB RAM model with 128GB storage costs $17,499 ($230). Realme.com, Flipkart, and physical stores across India will be having a sale starting on March 14th.
