Xiaomi revealed earlier this week that the Redmi Watch 2 Lite will be available in India on March 9, 2022. This model was first released in Europe in December, with a retail price of €69.99. The smart wearable's pricing range has now been disclosed ahead of its arrival in India.
Tipster Yogesh Brar revealed in a MySmartPrice report that the smartwatch will be aggressively priced in India. According to the source, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite will be released in India for between Rs. 5000 and Rs. 6000.
Features and Specifications
We already know all of the specifications for the smartwatch because it is already available in other areas. The Redmi Watch 2 Lite has a 1.55-inch 360 x 320 pixel colour touch screen display with over 100 watch faces to choose from. It features a button on the side that allows you to navigate and access the menu.
It has biometric sensors including heart rate monitoring, steps counting, blood oxygen levels detecting, and more, just like most modern smartwatches. It also includes over 100 sports modes, as well as GPS and support for Galileo, GLONASS, and BDS. It also has a water resistance rating of 5ATM. Xiaomi also released the Redmi Watch 2 Lite, which came with its own operating system and 100 watch faces.
The wearable is powered by a 262mAh battery pack that the company claims can last 10 days. Music control, weather, message notification, DND, call alerts, alarm, find my phone, and timer are among the other functions. The new Redmi Watch is available in three colours: ivory, black, and blue. There are six strap colours to choose from: ivory, black, blue, pink, olive, and brown.
