We have learned that Oppo would release a new smartphone called the Oppo K10. It's widely assumed that it'll be one of the first models to use the new MediaTek Dimensity 8000 series chipset. Now, according to new information, the smartphone will include an outstanding rapid charging option.
With the product code PGIM10, the Oppo K10 has passed China's 3C certification site. The smartphone comes with a charger with the model number VCB8JACH that supports 80W rapid charging.
The smartphone will also include a mix of the latest Dimensity 8000 SoC and 80W rapid charging technology, according to tipster @BaldPanda. This clarifies the previous ambiguity over which 8000 series processor the K10 will have, whether the 8000 or the 8100.
To begin with, both the Dimensity 8000 and 8100 are new mid-range chipsets, however the 8000 has a little slower GPU than the 8100. By the end of Q1, MediaTek has confirmed that the first smartphone using these chips would be available. As a result, the Oppo K10 should be available in the next months.
It's worth mentioning that Oppo won't be the only company to release phones with the Dimensity 8000 series chipset. OnePlus and Redmi are two of the first companies to release phones using the 8000 or 8100 SoCs. While the name of the future OnePlus device powered by this CPU is unknown, we do know that the Redmi K50 Pro will feature the 8000 series chipset.
