The Oppo K10 India launch is likely to take place shortly, according to teasers on the company's website. Flipkart is also teasing the release of a new Oppo phone, which will be the company's newest K-series model to reach the Indian market. Oppo launched the K9 5G and K9 Pro 5G variants in China last year. The Oppo K10 is likely to provide a number of improvements over the Oppo K9 5G variants. The Oppo K9 5G had a 90Hz display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC, while the Oppo K9 Pro 5G had a 120Hz display and a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor.
The official Oppo India Twitter account teased the debut of the Oppo K10 in the nation on Monday. It also included a link to a special Flipkart website where details regarding the new phone are expected to be revealed on March 16.
Although the teasers have not revealed which Oppo phone would be released in India later this week, Oppo confirmed to Gadgets 360 that it will be the Oppo K10.
The Oppo K10's debut date in India has yet to be announced. Oppo, on the other hand, is teasing the phone in China with features such as the inclusion of the MediaTek Dimensity 8000 series, which was released earlier this month.
Oppo K10 price in India (expected)
The Oppo K10 pricing in India will be under Rs. 20,000, according to 91Mobiles, quoting tipster Yogesh Brar.
The Oppo K9 5G was released in May of last year for CNY 1,899 (about Rs. 22,800) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variation and CNY 2,199 (approximately Rs. 26,500) for the 8GB + 256GB model.
The Oppo K9 Pro 5G was released in September and was priced at CNY 2,199 (about Rs. 26,500) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB edition and CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs. 32,500) for the top-of-the-line 12GB + 256GB variant.
Oppo K10 specifications (expected)
The Oppo K10 is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8000-series SoC. The new series includes the Dimensity 8000 and Dimensity 8100 models, which are both based on TSMC's 5nm technology and enable up to 168Hz display. The chipsets also support up to 200-megapixel cameras, 4K video recording, and HDR10+.
The Oppo K10 is also believed to include a number of improvements over the Oppo K9 5G series, which was released last year. The Oppo K9 5G features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, as well as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC, 8GB of RAM, and up to 25GB storage. The Oppo K9 Pro 5G, on the other hand, came with a 6.43-inch full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. Both Oppo phones included triple back cameras, one of which being a 64-megapixel main sensor.
The Oppo K9 5G had a 4,300mAh battery with 65W fast charging, whilst the K9 Pro 5G had a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
