OPPO unveiled the Find X5 Pro, the fourth generation of its flagship phone series, last month, using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU. Following that, another variation was announced, this time with the arguably more powerful Dimensity 9000. While it has already been established that the Dimensity 9000 exceeds the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in terms of benchmark performance, AnTuTu scores for both models of the Find X5 Pro are now available for the first time.

IT Home conducted the test, with both phones set to high-performance mode. The OPPO Find X5 Pro has scored slightly over a million points, something no other processor in the Android industry has managed to do until date. In comparison, the Snapdragon OPPO Find X5 Pro comes in second with 990,473 points.Qualcomm, on the other hand, has maintained its dominance in the GPU area, at least in terms of AnTuTu, with the Adreno 730 scoring significantly better than the Mali-G710 MC10 on the Dimensity 9000.

It is worth noting that the aforementioned findings are not the result of a single round of testing, as IT Home claims that the benchmark was run many times.

The OPPO Find X5 Pro is the first smartphone to include the Dimensity 9000. The processor is manufactured on TSMC's 4nm technology and has a Cortex-X2 super core, three Cortex-A710 big cores, and four Cortex-A510 small cores, as well as an ARM Mali-G710 GPU for graphics.

Now that MediaTek has demonstrated its improvement in performance with its first genuine flagship processor for smartphones, it remains to be seen if it will do similarly well in battery efficiency testing. Those should be available in the next days as well, so stay tuned.
