Oppo has announced that the global release of ColorOS 12, the next iteration of its Android 12-based operating system, will begin in March. The firm has released a list of phones that will receive the newest operating system upgrade in India this month. The stable update will be sent out in stages, so it may take some time for all Oppo devices in the aforementioned locations to receive the update. In India, devices such as the Oppo A53s 5G and Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G will begin receiving the operating system's beta version. ColorOS 12 includes, among other things, App Cloner, free camera SDKs, and Phone Manager.
Oppo's ColorOS worldwide Twitter handle revealed the ColorOS 12 upgrade distribution timetable for March, which is based on Android 12. According to the tweet, three Oppo devices will receive the OS beta this month, while ten Oppo handsets will receive the stable release. The Europe deployment strategy excludes carrier-exclusive devices.
ColorOS 12 beta update
ColorOS 12 beta will be available for Oppo A53s 5G phones in India beginning March 16. The beta version of the Oppo Reno 4 Z 5G will be available in Thailand and the Philippines on the same day. ColorOS 12 beta upgrade will begin rolling out to freshly announced Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G handsets in India on March 29.
ColorOS 12 stable update
In Thailand, the Oppo Reno 4 Pro 5G will begin receiving stable versions of ColorOS 12 on March 24. Oppo Reno 5 Lite and Oppo Reno 4 Lite users in Kazakhstan will be able to download the official version of the new operating system on March 29.
Starting March 29, the stable versions of ColorOS 12 will be available for the Oppo Reno 5F and Oppo Reno 4F in Indonesia, the Oppo F19 Pro and Oppo F17 Pro in India, and the Oppo A94 and Oppo A93 in the UAE. The new update will be available for the Oppo Reno 4 in Indonesia and the Oppo Reno 4 Pro in India and Indonesia on March 31.

Smartphones such as the Oppo Find X3 Pro 5G, Oppo Find X3 Neo 5G, Oppo Find X3 Lite 5G, Reno 6 Pro 5G, Reno 6 5G, and Oppo A73 5G are now receiving the official ColorOS 12 update in Western European Union nations. Similarly, stable versions of ColorOS 12 are now available for the Oppo Reno 6 Pro 5G, Oppo Reno 6 5G, and Oppo Reno 5 5G in Poland, Romania, and Hungary.
The stable update will be delivered automatically to Oppo handsets that are eligible. Users may check for the stable Android 12 update manually by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
