According to a recent source, the OnePlus Nord 2T has entered the testing phase in India, along with a sketch of the device's rear camera module.
The gadget, codenamed 'Karen,' is slated to succeed the OnePlus Nord 2, which was released in July 2021. While it's not confirmed that Karen is the OnePlus Nord 2T, it certainly appears to be.
The phone's near-complete specifications were leaked a few months ago, but this is the first time we've seen a look of its design — or at least a portion of it. The sketch (via PriceBaba) depicts a camera module with a couple of camera rings that appears to be quite distinctive.
One might argue that the ring is taken from the Nord 2, however closer inspection reveals that the second camera ring housing not one, but two camera lenses. The top one has been identified as an ultrawide lens, while the bottom one is thought to be a monochrome lens. Meanwhile, the main camera gets its own ring.
The camera island also stores flash units, which are divided into warm and cool flashlights. Most phones combine the two into a single device, but the Nord 2T appears to have them separated for added oomph.
Finally, the camera on the Nord 2T has curved edges, according to the report. According to a recent leak, the arrangement will have 50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP monochrome cameras, similar to the Nord 2. The device is likely to be released in India in a few weeks.
