A big leak earlier this year disclosed practically the whole spec sheet of the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, leaving only the pricing to guesswork. But that has changed today, with another rumour claiming that the phone's basic model will cost less than Rs 35,000.
The information comes from Twitter tipper @Shadow Leak, who also disclosed the Nord 2T's previously known specifications. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300, which seems to be the successor to the Dimensity 1200. The Dimensity 1200 was really MediaTek's most powerful smartphone processor last year, until the Dimensity 9000 was announced in December 2021, dethroning it.
And, if history is any guide, the Dimensity 1300 will be an upper mid-range offering that will be adequate for a phone priced under Rs 35,000.
Other known OnePlus Nord 2T 5G characteristics include a 6.43′′ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and an FHD+ resolution of 24001080. It will sport a 50MP+8MP+2MP back camera and a 32MP front-facing camera. The battery will have a capacity of 4,500mAh and capability for 80W rapid charging. There will be two memory configurations available: 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. The smartphone will boot into Android 12 right out of the box.
