The OnePlus 9RT has been updated to OxygenOS 11 A.05, which includes various bug fixes and enhancements to the operating system. The update was made available earlier this week and is now being rolled out to smartphones in India and other countries. OnePlus has solved freezing issues with the Gallery and Clock applications, as well as while making calls on Instagram, as part of the newest OxygenOS system update. According to OnePlus, the new update for the OnePlus 9RT includes the February security fixes.

The OxygenOS 11 A.05 upgrade for the OnePlus 9RT was recently announced on the OnePlus forums. The update is 179MB in size and comes with the firmware version MT2111 11 A.05. The latest version, according to OnePlus, fixes an issue that caused the Gallery app to stop while sharing photographs, as well as optimising the time for syncing photos. After upgrading to the newest release, making video calls on Instagram should no longer cause the app to stall.

OnePlus has also optimised the camera app as part of the update, such as boosting video quality while recording 60fps footage with the ultra-wide camera in low light. The business has also resolved issues with missing photographs taken with the ultra-wide angle camera in night mode while using a tripod, distortion and blurring in some shots, and an issue while recording movies in ultra steady mode with the flash turned on.

Other bugs fixed as part of the OxygenOS 11 A.05 update for the OnePlus 9RT include display troubles while checking for updates in administrator mode and a glitch that caused the display to remain on after the auto screen off time had been specified. OnePlus has also fixed an issue that caused the Clock app to stop responding after switching to dark mode on the global clock page, as well as a bug that caused alarms to be wrongly restored.

Users who have not yet gotten a message may check for the update manually by going to Settings > System > System updates. It is recommended that you update the OnePlus 9RT while it is charging and connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network.
