In India, the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro have begun to receive a fresh OxygenOS upgrade. The OxygenOS 12 (C.46) version includes the Android security patch for February 2022, as well as solutions for a few known vulnerabilities. The latest update is intended to boost the 5G network and resolve a common issue with the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 P Pro handsets' Always-On Display functionality. It is also said to resolve an Alexa app crash issue. As is customary, the update will be rolled out to OnePlus users in stages. The business has listed builds for the phones' EU and India editions.

The latest OxygenOS 12 update (C.46) for the OnePlus 9 is available in Europe as LE2113 11.C.46 and in India as LE2111 11.C.46. Similarly, users of the OnePlus 9 Pro in Europe will receive the LE2123 11.C.46 build, while users in India will receive the LE2121 11.C.46 build. Notably, OnePlus has not published this update for phones in North America, citing country-specific restrictions.
The changelog highlights the February 2022 Android security patch as well as a litany of adjustments, including system stability enhancements for the OnePlus 9 series phones. As previously stated, the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro receive solutions for an inconsistent Always-on Display problem that customers have previously observed. Along with that, the handsets will receive improvements for screen blur. Furthermore, OnePlus has fixed an issue that was causing sporadic crashes of the Alexa app. According to the patch notes, the C.46 version offers improvements for concerns with OnePlus 9 series phones' 5G connection.
The post does not provide the amount of the update. Users are recommended to upgrade their OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro while the phones are charging and connected to a strong Wi-Fi signal. OnePlus will roll out the update in stages, and it is expected to reach all eligible smartphones automatically over the air.
