When Samsung announced One UI 4 based on Android 12, we were used to receiving a slew of software upgrades left and right, but months have gone and the latest shiny thing is One UI 4.1, which was introduced with the S22 series. The Korean business has been pushing out a slew of changes to the current version of its skin for its older devices, and now we have two more to add to the list.
The Galaxy S20 FE 5G and the original Galaxy Fold are in question. The S20 FE 5G is now receiving the One UI 4.1 upgrade in Poland, but it should be available in other European nations shortly. G781BXXU4FVC2 is the updated firmware version, and it includes the March 2022 security patch, which resolves over 50 vulnerabilities. Needless to say, this one should be put in place as quickly as feasible.
The original Galaxy Fold from 2019 has also received a One UI 4.1 upgrade, which is currently available in France for the 4G variant and the UK for the 5G model. The new build number is F90xxXXU6HVC6, where "xx" changes depending on the model. As with the Galaxy S20 FE, the revised software for the original Fold should be available in more European countries in the next days and weeks.
If you own one of these three phones (S20 FE 5G, Fold 4G, or Fold 5G) and live in one of the aforementioned countries, you may manually check for the latest update by navigating to Settings > Software update, if you haven't already.
