Carl Pei's Nothing reported earlier this month that the company would stage "The Truth" keynote event on March 23 when it will debut new items and their first smartphone, which is likely to be the event's showstopper. So, let's go through everything we know so far about the impending smartphone.
Surprisingly, the business has managed to keep the next smartphone under wraps, revealing virtually little details. However, Nothing showed a translucent frame earlier this month, which is most likely a hint towards the future device's transparent rear panel.
As previously said, the company's initial product and only one to date is the Nothing Ear (1) TWS earphones, which have a transparent design and were an instant hit with the younger market base. The company's first smartphone, branded the Nothing Phone (1), is believed to follow the same design concept, with a transparent back plate that will presumably show off some of the smartphone's components.
The Nothing Phone (1) is also said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor; however, it is uncertain if the chipset in the smartphone will be a mid-ranger like the Snapdragon 778G or something more top tier like the Snapdragon 888 or perhaps the most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. One thing is certain: the gadget will run an Android-based operating system, as hinted by a cryptic twitter exchange between Nothing's CEO Carl Pie and Android's official Twitter handle.
Aside from that, Carl Pei was sighted carrying what is said to be a prototype model of the Nothing Phone (1). The leaked image does not show much about the smartphone's design, but it does display a black back panel and a circular camera module with an LED flash.
The smartphone is not the only new Nothing device that is expected to debut at “The Truth” launch event as rumors about the brand working on a total of five new products have been making the rounds online. These include a power bank which could be named Nothing Power (1) and the brand’s first as well as a new wireless earphone offering from the brand. The new wireless earphones can be the second generation Nothing Ear TWS earbuds.
