StarTech's new docking station lets customers connect their favourite peripherals to a Mac with a single connection while also supplying full power to a 16-inch MacBook Pro.

According to StarTech, the dock can handle up to 40Gbps data transfer rates, 8K video input/output on compatible Windows devices, and up to 96W USB-C Power Delivery, which is enough to keep a 16-inch MacBook Pro powered when fully loaded.

Its modest dimensions — 3.3 inches by 7.6 inches by 1.1 inches high — allows it to be tucked away on a desk corner or behind almost any display. It works with Thunderbolt 4 and USB 4 devices from Windows and Mac. It is also backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 3 Intel MacBooks.

Because the dock only has a single Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, or USB 4 port, customers may simply unplug one wire from their Mac and transfer it to a another place. It's a convenient alternative for individuals who still divide their time between the office and the home.

The TB4CDOCK is priced at $402.31 on Amazon.
