Motorola has released a slew of smartphones in various pricing ranges in worldwide countries. According to 91mobiles, the Lenovo-owned company is planning up to 19 smartphones for overseas markets. The article contains important details about several of the future Edge 30 branded devices. It looks that the magazine will release another report later in the year to expose the specifics of more Motorola phones scheduled for sale in 2022.

Motorola released the Motorola Edge X30 in China in December of last year. This smartphone (codenamed Rogue) has already been released in places other than China as the Motorola Edge 30 Pro. Mid-range phones Moto G Stylus 2022 (codenamed Milan) and Moto G22 (codenamed Hawaii+) have also been released in select areas.

According to the leak, there may be a 5G version of the Milan gadget. Motorola released the Edge 20, Edge 20 Lite, Edge 20 Fusion, and Edge 20 Pro smartphones last year. This year, the business is likely to release a number of phones under the Edge 30 moniker.

The codenames for the forthcoming Edge 30 series of smartphones are Frontier, Dubai, Miami, and Dubai+. The Frontier variant, which is expected to be one of the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ powered devices, might be marketed as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. In China, it will most likely be known as the Edge X30 Pro. The Edge 30 Ultra might be released in the third quarter of this year.

The Motorola phone codenamed Dubai is likely to make its global debut in early April as the standard Motorola Edge 30. It might have a 6.55-inch P-OLED FHD+ 144Hz display, a 32-megapixel front camera, a triple camera unit with 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel resolution, and a 4,020mAh battery. It might have 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, or 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.

The Miami model is scheduled to be released next, with the marketing name Motorola Edge 30 Lite. It will include a 6.28-inch P-OLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 695 CPU, 6 GB / 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128 GB / 256 GB storage, a 32-megapixel front camera, dual back cameras with 64-megapixel + 13-megapixel resolution, and a 4,020mAh battery. The device's thickness will be less than 7mm.

The Dubai+ model will be released next, and it will be powered by a new MediaTek chip with the model number MT6879. It has two Cortex A78 cores running at 2.6GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0GHz, and a Mali G79 GPU. It'll have the same screen and cameras as the Edge 30. Like the Edge 30 Pro, it will include a 5,000mAh battery and compatibility for a stylus. There is no information about the device's name. It is scheduled to make its debut in the third quarter (probably after the Edge 30 Ultra).
