The Motorola One 5G is a mid-range smartphone that will be available in September of 2020. It is one among the early users of 5G technology, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G.

It had a Full HD+ display and a 90Hz display, however unlike in the past, Verizon was joined in offering the phone in the United States by AT&T.

Perhaps due to the One 5G's midrange $500 price tag, Motorola will only provide one OS upgrade and two years of security patches.

The phone is known as the Motorola One 5G on AT&T, and the Motorola One 5G UW on Verizon. The term "UW" refers to the ultra-wideband spectrum supported by Verizon's mmWave technology.

Motorola One 5G software updates

Motorola introduced the Motorola One 5G with Android 10 out of the box, with Motorola pledging only one major OS upgrade.

The phone received the Android 11 upgrade in April of this year. It upgraded the phone to the March security patch, bringing the OS version to RPN31.Q1-51-30-1.

Buggs , Issues and Problems

We haven't seen any big glitches or troubles with the Motorola One 5G in recent months, however there are minor drawbacks, such as the roaming issue.

That being said, we will be keeping a close check on any current flaws and issues that may arise with future upgrades in this department.
