Motorola unveiled the Moto Edge X30 flagship smartphone last year, in December 2021, as the world's first smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
Now, the Lenovo-owned business is preparing to release a new version of the phone called the Motorola Edge X30 Under Screen Edition, which will have an under-display camera. Teasers are revealing some key details ahead of the launch later this week.
The business has revealed a new teaser poster of the Motorola Edge X30 Under Screen Edition smartphone, which suggests that the handset would contain 512GB of internal storage. For those who are unaware, the standard Edge X30 smartphone comes with only two internal storage options: 128GB and 256GB.
The smartphone is said to include a 6.7-inch OLED Full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 576Hz. It will have a DCI P3 colour gamut of 100 percent, HDR10+, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC will power the gadget, which will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM. In terms of cameras, it is expected to include a triple-camera configuration with a 50-megapixel main sensor.
The smartphone will boast a 60-megapixel camera on the front, as well as functionality for face recognition. The phone will run the Android 12 operating system and be backed by a 54,700mAh battery with 68W rapid charging capabilities.
