Motorola is preparing to release a new Edge 30 series smartphone in the near future. We previously reported that the Edge 30 has been seen on multiple certification websites, and now the device has also been spotted on NBTC with support for 5G networking.
We previously reported on the gadget gaining certification on a variety of websites, including the TDRA database, the Wi-Fi Alliance, the EEC, and even GeekBench. The Moto phone with model number XT2203-1 is now now included on the NBTC certification page (Via MySmartPrice). According to this listing, the gadget is made in the United States and is confirmed to support GSM, WCDMA LTE, and NR networks.
This essentially indicates that the smartphone, like the previously unveiled Edge 30 Pro, would enable 5G networking. Aside from this information, the listing does not offer any additional detailed specifics about this item. However, as previously reported, we do have some assumptions to go on. The Edge 30 is reported to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus CPU and will ship with the Android 12 operating system. This chipset will work with 8GB of LPPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
On the front, it might have a 6.7-inch FHD+ POLED display, a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and a 144Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the back camera might be a 108-megapixel sensor combined with a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a macro sensor, and perhaps an 8-megapixel 3x telephoto sensor with OIS capability. Under the hood, the smartphone is said to be powered by a 4,000mAh battery pack with 30W rapid charging capabilities. Remember that this is a rumour, so take these specifications with a grain of salt for the time being and keep tuned for future developments.
