Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known Apple analyst, has published six "predictions" regarding the third-generation iPhone SE, revealing significant new information about the smartphone.
Kuo predicts that the third-generation iPhone SE will have the same design as the current model, the A15 Bionic chip, and 5G connection as the current model, but there are some additional elements.
Kuo anticipates that the iPhone SE would offer a new 256GB storage capacity, in addition to the existing 64GB and 128GB ones, and confirms that the iPhone SE's 5G capabilities will include both mmWave and Sub-6GHz 5G connection, which was previously unknown. The inclusion of the A15 Bionic processor also appears to refute speculation that the next-generation iPhone SE will be equipped with the A14 Bionic chip instead.
Furthermore, the tweet indicates that the iPhone SE will have the same White, Black, and Red colour options as the present model, with no additional colours available. It's also worth noticing that camera enhancements are conspicuously absent from Kuo's forecast.
According to Kuo, bulk manufacturing of the new iPhone SE begins this month, and Apple expects to distribute 25 to 30 million phones this year.
Ming-Chi Kuo is a TF International Securities analyst who frequently provides precise information on Apple's plans. Kuo generally provides his knowledge in formal investor notes and has never disclosed such material on Twitter previously.
The third-generation iPhone SE is largely expected to be unveiled on March 8 at Apple's "Peek Performance" event. The business appears to have registered new iPhone SE models in regulatory databases in January, hinting that the device's release is soon.
