Meta Platforms Inc has recently entered into a partnership agreement for three-dimensional advertisements. These advertisements will appear on the company's main social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and others.

The latest partnership, according to Reuters, is with an ecommerce technology business. Now, the social media platforms will incorporate VNTANA integration, which will allow various firms to submit 3D models of their items to Facebook and Instagram, as well as convert them to adverts. Notably, this development comes as the tech behemoth prepares for its future with metaverse, according to VNTANA Chief Executive Ashley Crowder. In other words, we're seeing the integration of a level that will most likely become a standard in the metaverse.

For those unaware, the metaverse is being imagined as the over collective of a number of virtual worlds that can simply be accessed through a device and a headset. As of right now, Meta has placed its focus on the building of the metaverse, which will likely take at least a decade to be realized. The company had previously partnered with augmented reality (AR) based firms like Modiface and PerfectCorp to aid beauty and cosmetic brands to run their 3D and AR advertising.

Crowder went on to say, "The metaverse is essentially the spatial internet." It's a whole new world of possibilities, and it all starts with having the right 3D models of your products." As a result, Facebook and Instagram users may expect to see 3D adverts when surfing on their PCs or smartphones in the near future. One would most likely be able to interact with the image and observe it from various perspectives.
