Lenovo offers a gaming product line under the Legion name, and the Lenovo Legion Y90, a highly anticipated gaming smartphone under the Legion brand, was released last month.
The gaming smartphone is now available for purchase in China. The base model costs 3,999 yuan ($633) with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the 16GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs 4,299 yuan ($680).
The top-of-the-line model, which comes with 18GB of RAM and 640GB of internal storage, costs 4,999 yuan, or $791. There are no colour options available, unlike some other gaming smartphones on the market.
The Lenovo Legion Y90 has a 6.92-inch E4 AMOLED display with HDR10+ compatibility, a screen resolution of 2460x1080 pixels, a high refresh rate of 144Hz, and a 720Hz touch sampling rate.
It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, as well as up to 18GB of RAM (with support for 4GB virtual RAM expansion) and 512GB of internal storage. Notably, the top-end model includes 128GB of SSD storage, which is configured in a RAID 0 system with UFS 3.1 storage for faster memory read and write rates.
In terms of photography, there's a dual-camera configuration on the back with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera is available for selfies and video calls.
The phone comes with the Android operating system pre-installed, as well as the company's own user interface. The smartphone is powered by a 5,600mAh battery that supports up to 68W rapid charging, according to the manufacturer, allowing it to be fully charged in just 38 minutes.
