The Oppo F21 Pro series will be launched in India on April 12 at 5 p.m.
The debut of the Oppo F21 Pro series in India is slated for April 12, according to a tweet from the Chinese business on Wednesday. Oppo has called the F21 Pro and F21 Pro 5G in the series, and teased a unique Fibreglass-Leather design, according to a press release. However, previous leaks have mentioned an F21 Pro+ model, which was claimed to be the first in the series to be released. For months, the Oppo F21 Pro series has been rumoured to be coming out. It will succeed the Oppo F19 Pro series, which included the Oppo F19 Pro and Oppo F19 Pro+ and launched last year.
The launch date for the Oppo F21 Pro series was announced on Twitter by the official Oppo India account. According to the company's tweet, it will take place on April 12 at 5 p.m. IST. Oppo has also launched a webpage for the Oppo F21 Pro series, which features a Fibreglass-Leather back design. It also reveals that one of the phones in the series has a triple-camera arrangement on the back, with a 64-megapixel main sensor. It's unclear whether the mentioned camera arrangement will be accessible on all Oppo F21 Pro models or will be confined to a single model.
Separately, Oppo revealed some design specifics regarding the F21 Pro series in a press release, including the fact that the Oppo F21 Pro will be available in Cosmic Black and Sunset Orange colour variations, and the Oppo F21 Pro 5G will be available in Cosmic Black and Rainbow Spectrum colour versions. The Sunset Orange is supposed to have a Fiberglass-Leather construction that also serves as a battery cover. Oppo claims that inventing the rear design, which is made of lychee-grain leather that is waterproof and "heavily" wear-resistant, took two years of study.
Oppo Glow technology is touted to be used in the Cosmic Black colour option to give a glossy look with a matte in-hand feel that is fingerprint and stain resistant. Finally, to achieve a rainbow-like appearance, the Rainbow Spectrum colour employs a "three-layer texture and two-layer coating" method, according to the manufacturer.
According to a previous report, the Oppo F21 Pro+ will be the first model to be released in the series, but if the India launch is the first global launch, the Oppo F21 Pro and F21 Pro 5G may be the first models to be released. Shortly after the introduction, the basic Oppo F21 is expected to arrive.
