Itel A49 with 6.6-inch screen, 4,000mAh battery, and Android 11 (Go) released in India

 Itel, a Chinese smartphone company, has just introduced a new inexpensive smartphone in India. The Itel A49, which will be released following the Itel A48 in August 2021, is believed to be the country's most cheap smartphone with a 6.6-inch HD+ waterdrop notch screen.


Itel A49 specs and features

The Itel A49 has a 6.6-inch screen with a waterdrop notch for the front camera. It boasts a 720 x 1600 pixel HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz.

The smartphone is powered by an unspecified quad-core CPU running at 1.4GHz. The PowerVR GE8320 GPU is also included in the SoC. The smartphone has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space. Users may upgrade the device's memory capacity by up to 128GB by using a TF card.

The smartphone has a 4000mAh battery with no declared fast charging capabilities, however it is reported to have a charging capacity of 5W/10W. The gadget comes with AI Face Unlocking and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security, and it runs Android 11 (Go Edition) out of the box.

The gadget includes a dual-camera configuration in a pill-shaped camera module for photography. The device's primary camera has a 5-megapixel sensor, while the other cutout has a VGA sensor. In addition, the LED flash is housed within the camera module. For selfies, we have a 5-megapixel camera on the front.

Itel A49 price in India

The gadget was announced as Itel's new budget offering in India, hence it is priced competitively. The Itel A49 is available in a single storage option of 2GB RAM + 32GB storage for Rs 6,999 ($92).

The gadget is available in three different colours: Crystal Purple, Dome Blue, and Sky Cyan.
