The iQoo Neo 6 specs have been leaked on the internet. According to a tweet on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo by a tipster, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and would feature 80W fast charging. These features, however, differ from what was revealed by the phone's claimed Google Play Console entry last December. It had been suggested that the Snapdragon 888 SoC will be used beneath the hood. The phone is expected to be released in China in the first quarter of 2022.
iQoo Neo 6 specifications (rumoured)
According to the Weibo tweet, the iQoo Neo 6 characteristics will have a 6.6-inch E4 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The iQoo phone is said to include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, as well as some form of heat cooling mechanism, and a 4,700mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
These characteristics contradict a claimed iQoo Neo 6 entry on Google Play Console. It is speculated that the phone would run Android 11-based OriginOS or FunTouch OS 12, depending on the market, and will have a full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) curved display with a centrally-aligned hole-punch cutout for the front camera. According to the previous listing, the phone would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
A November report also mentioned an iQoo Neo 6E, claiming that it will be positioned in the mid-range sector and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 778G Plus SoC.
