After months of speculation, the iPhone SE (2022) was eventually unveiled at the virtual Apple event on Tuesday (March 8) as the company's next affordable iPhone model. The new iPhone SE is an improvement over the iPhone SE (2020), which was released in April 2020. The iPhone SE (2022) has 5G connection and is powered by the A15 Bionic technology, which was released last year. The previous generation, on the other hand, included 4G capability and an A13 Bionic processor. The iPhone SE (2022) also has a better back camera. Aside from the three key hardware enhancements, the new iPhone SE retains the same design language that was debuted nearly two years ago.

The basic 64GB model of the iPhone SE (2022) costs Rs. 43,900 in India. The new iPhone is also available in 128GB and 256GB varieties, with prices starting at Rs. 48,900 and going up to Rs. 58,900, respectively.

The iPhone SE (2022) begins at $429 in the United States (roughly Rs. 33,000).
The new iPhone SE is available in Midnight, Starlight, and (PRODUCT) RED colours and will be available for pre-order in locations like India beginning this Friday, with availability beginning March 18.

The 64GB storage edition of the iPhone SE (2020) was announced at a starting price of Rs. 42,500. It was also available in 128GB and 256GB storage capacities for Rs. 47,800 and Rs. 58,300, respectively. The final model was also released in the United States, with a starting price of $399. (roughly Rs. 30,700).

In addition to the new iPhone SE (2022), Apple released a fresh green colour choice for the iPhone 13 and Alpine Green for the iPhone 13 Pro family.

iOS 15 is installed on the iPhone SE (2022). It sports a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with a 750x1,334 pixel resolution, 326ppi pixel density, and a peak brightness of up to 625 nits. Overall, the display on the iPhone SE (2022) appears to be identical to that on the prior iPhone SE model. However, the firm claims that the new iPhone SE features the "toughest glass in a smartphone" on the front and back. The glass protection is identical to that seen in the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro. In addition, the new model is IP67-certified.

The iPhone SE (2022) is powered by the A15 Bionic processor, which is also found in the iPhone 13 series. The new iPhone SE's A15 Bionic technology is said to provide up to 1.8 times quicker CPU performance than the iPhone 8. It also includes features such as Live Text.

Like the previous iPhone SE, the new iPhone has a single 12-megapixel camera sensor on the rear with an f/1.8 wide-angle lens. The rear camera sensor, on the other hand, has been upgraded, featuring better visual processing.

The iPhone SE (2022) has 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a Lightning connector for connection. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, three-axis gyroscope, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board.

The iPhone SE (2022), like the previous model, has a Touch ID button with a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The new iPhone SE is said to have "all-day battery life." Apple also stated that the iPhone SE (2022)'s built-in battery provides up to 15 hours of video playing or up to 50 hours of music playback on a single charge. In comparison, the iPhone SE (2020) was rated to provide up to 13 hours of video playback time and 40 hours of standby time.

The new iPhone SE supports wireless charging using the Qi standard. It also comes with quick 20W wired charging. However, the supported charger is not included in the retail package.

The iPhone SE (2022) measures 138.4x67.3x7.3mm and weighs 144 grammes in total. The iPhone SE (2022) has the same proportions as the previous generation, however it weighs eight grammes less than the prior model, which weighed 148 grammes.
