Following the makeover of the iPhone 12, the iPhone 14 series will offer another big design shift to the iPhone. A hole-punch design with two cuts in the screen will replace the notch. According to sources, the dual hole-punch screen would be available only on the iPhone 14 Pro. According to a fresh report, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max would be larger than the non-Pro models.
Will the iPhone 14 have a different design?
If recent claims are correct, Apple has planned a few substantial improvements for 2022. There will still be four new phones released this autumn, but there will be no iPhone 14 small. Apple will instead provide two sizes for the Pro and non-Pro versions.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are the more cheap variants, while the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are the Pro models. According to reports, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will feature the identical 6.1-inch display. The Max models will have 6.7-inch displays.
Given that Apple has been doing the same thing for a few years, this seemed obvious. The iPhone 11 and 11 Pro were both the same size. The same is true for the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, as well as the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro.
The iPhone 12 introduced a design similar to the iPhone 4: flat edges and rounded corners. Then, in order to accommodate bigger batteries, Apple significantly expanded the thickness of the iPhone 13 models.
