The iPhone 12 series had a substantial design revamp, and as a result, we did not anticipate the iPhone 13 to get many design modifications. The latest gadgets maintain Apple's previous-generation phones' squared-off edges and huge square camera module. iPhone 13 display with 120Hz refresh rate
The display on the Pro iPhones has been significantly improved. Apple's Pro devices finally acquired ProMotion screens after years of high refresh rate Android phones. That is, they have a refresh rate of 120Hz, which allows for smooth animations and a responsive feel in applications. This was a long-overdue addition, but it's still good to see.
Unfortunately, as previously stated, the functionality is only available on "Pro" versions, therefore regular devices did not receive the modification. That should change with the iPhone 14 series, but only time will tell. Nonetheless, whether they have high refresh rates or not, all four devices have beautiful OLED panels that look amazing.
The standard smartphones, on the other hand, received a minor display improvement. The smartphone features a new high-efficiency display with a maximum brightness of 1200 nits.
iPhone 13 specs and features
The series received an updated CPU, as is customary, with all four versions now featuring Apple's A15 Bionic chip. The new chip is built on a 5nm technology, rather not a 3nm process, as some speculations suggested. However, it adds a little oomph to an already super-powerful CPU. It has two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores in a 6-core CPU.
The storage amounts were also updated. Apple has dropped the 64GB storage option, so the standard iPhone now comes with 128GB. This is beneficial for individuals who want to keep a large number of files and media on their device, however those who rely heavily on cloud services may not notice much of a difference. There's also a new 1TB storage option.
