Xiaomi is anticipated to announce new models in the entry-level Redmi number series now that the Redmi Note 11 series has nearly launched in all markets. Because the business only issued a few devices in the Redmi 10 series last year, new models in that generation are expected to be released instead of the Redmi 11 series. Alleged information concerning one of these phones has resurfaced.

Xiaomi is preparing to launch an inexpensive smartphone in India with the model number 220333QBI, according to Xiaomiui. According to the report, the handset would be known in China as the Redmi 10. For your knowledge, the original Redmi 10 is offered in the region as the Redmi 10 Prime.

Xiaomiui had already reported about this phone in late January for those who were unaware. It is codenamed ‘fog’ and it was previously suggested to launch as Redmi 10C

The device is also available in a POCO variant with the model number 220333QPI. This model is rumoured to be the POCO C4.

In terms of features, the latest research confirms the camera specifications already published. It does, however, mention the handset's OS and several other specifications for the first time.

When it comes to the operating system, it will run MIUI 13, but the build will unfortunately be based on Android 11. The phone will also include a 60Hz 6.53-inch HD+ notched display (LCD), a MediaTek chipset with an octa-core CPU, a dual-SIM card slot, a MicroSD card port, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Finally, the phone will have a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KJN1 or 50MP OmniVision OV50C primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP OmniVision OV02B1B or a SmartSens SC201CS macro snapper, and a 5MP front-facing camera.

This rumoured Redmi 10 will almost certainly be followed by the Redmi 10 Prime 2022, which is expected to be identical to the Redmi 10 Prime from 2021.
