Samsung has issued a new update for the Galaxy S21 FE in the Asian and European markets, just days after releasing the One UI 4.1 upgrade for carrier-locked devices. The March 2022 security patch is also included in the current update.

The Exynos 2100 version of the Galaxy S21 FE has started receiving firmware version G990EXXU1CVC5 in Thailand. More than 50 security vulnerabilities are addressed by the March 2022 security patch contained in the updated software.

If you have a Galaxy S21 FE and live in one of the aforementioned regions, go to Settings » Software Update and select Download and Install to check for new updates. You can also manually flash the latest firmware file by downloading it from our database. In the following weeks, the One UI 4.1 upgrade for the Galaxy S21 FE will be available in more countries and regions.

The Galaxy S21 FE comes pre-installed with Samsung's One UI 4.0, which is based on Android 12. With the One UI 4.1 upgrade, smartphones now have access to a slew of new capabilities. Smart widgets, enhanced portrait photographs, the ability to take portrait films with a telescopic lens, and increased colour palette options are all part of the updated software.

The One UI 4.1 update also adds the ability to save videos taken with the front and rear cameras as distinct files, which can subsequently be played simultaneously in a stock video player. Object Eraser, Shadow Eraser, and Reflection Eraser are all included in the built-in gallery software. The ability to scan real-world objects and convert them into 3D stickers is also included in this release.

With the One UI 4.1 update, Google Duo Live Sharing is now available on the Galaxy S21 FE. During a Google Duo video call, you can share your screen with others. Samsung Health gives superior health and fitness statistics as well as advice on how to attain your objectives. When you leave objects, SmartThings Find can remind you to take them away.
