Huawei Sound Joy, the latest addition to the company's smart speaker collection, was unveiled at MWC 2022. The new Huawei Sound Joy smart speaker was co-engineered with French audio firm Devialet and promises to have a playing length of up to 26 hours. According to the firm, it has a cylindrical body with four speaker units. The Huawei Sound Joy is dust and water resistant, with an IP67 rating. According to Huawei, users can also use their Huawei Watch to adjust the volume and skip tunes, as well as use an integrated voice assistant to create reminders, memos, and information enquiries.

Huawei Sound Joy price, availability

Huawei Sound Joy costs EUR 149 (about Rs. 12,600) and is already available in a few European countries, as well as Chile and Peru. The smart speaker is available in two colours: Obsidian Black and Spruce Green. Huawei hasn't said when the Huawei Sound Joy smart speaker would be available in other countries, including India.

The Huawei AI Life app may be used to operate the speaker on smartphones running Android 5.1 (or later) and HarmonyOS 2 (or later), however iOS devices are not yet supported. A Huawei wristwatch may also be used to manage volume and playback. Bluetooth v5.2 communication is provided via the Huawei Sound Joy smart speaker.
